Working together to help children succeed

About Us

Lancaster Promise Neighborhood is a federally funded five-year grant from the United States Department of Education (USDOE) that began in January 2022. We focus on supporting parents and students in the school zone consisting of Clinton Elementary School, A.R. Rucker Middle School, and Lancaster High School.

Whatever it Takes for Every Child Living in The Zone to Have the Opportunity for Success

The Lancaster Promise Neighborhood project is modeled off the Harlem Children’s Zone (NY) and consists of a pipeline of programs that begin at birth and continue through college/career. We provide support and resources for students to succeed and achieve their dreams. Our mission involves doing whatever it takes with the community to ensure every child living in the school zone has the opportunity for success.

Our promise is that all children will:

  • Enter school ready to learn
  • Meet the standard in all subject areas
  • Graduate on time
  • Enroll and complete college/technical college
